Fine Foodlums and friends,
We're having another gathering THIS Saturday (June 7, 2008! after the Farmers Market!) from 12-2pm @ Peace Park (next to Just Local Foods) to play some Kubb, grill and share lunch, take in some bluegrass, and make community.
The Eau Claire Berserkers and UWEC Foodlums are hosting kubb friendlies on the first Saturday of each month from noon to 2pm at Peace Park (across from Just Local Food on 1st and Grand). The friendlies will consist of kubb and food. They will not be tournaments, but consist of friendly matches. If you are a rookie or if you are the world champion, if you have a couple hours or only 15 minutes, regardless, you are more than welcome. The grill is always hot and the lumber is always being tossed.
If you'd like to have a great afternoon (or practice for our August 2nd Midwest Kubb Championship & Fundraiser!) invite friends, bring some serious hunger and a kubb swagger!
