Garden Plots Available to Rent
The Eau Claire County Extension Office is again offering garden plots for rent at the Community Garden Site located on Jeffers Road, just off the North Crossing. This is the same location as in previous years. The rental fee is $32 for a 20’ x 50’ tilled plot and access to the water faucet. Plots are rented on a first-come basis.
To rent a plot, stop by the Extension Office to pick up the registration form or call Extension Office at 718-839-4712 for further information. Requests for garden plots will not be taken over the phone. The Extension Office is located at 227 1st Street W, Altoona, and open Monday thru Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. We hope to have the gardens ready for planting mid-May. Don’t wait to long, the gardening season is just around the corner!
