A Day With Nowhere to Stay

CHALLENGE!

Hunger and Homelessness in our Community:

Experience. Education. Action.

We challenge YOU to spend just one day with nowhere to stay in downtown Eau Claire! As part of Hunger and Homelessness Awareness week, we invite you to spend the afternoon and evening of Thursday, November 19th experiencing the various services that the city of Eau Claire provides to our friends and neighbors in need.


3:00-5:00p.m. Positive Avenues

- Art Show featuring a Photo Essay and Open Floor -618 S Barstow St.-

3:00-5:00p.m. Beacon House Family Shelter - 309 E. Lake Street -

The Wellness Shack, Inc. - 515 S Barstow St., Suite 117 -

- Stop by the Beacon House and the Wellness Shack to learn about the services they provide for the community!

5:00-6:30p.m. The Community Table

- Come enjoy a hot meal provided to the public Ð free will donation -320 Putnam Street-

3:00-8:00 p.m. The Warming Center

Ð ÒIn the Shelters, In the StreetsÓ documentary showing every hour

Ð Hunger and Homelessness Panel Discussion @ 7pm. - Corner of Graham Ave. and Gray St.-

8:00-11:00 p.m. Wilson Park Sleepover/Bonfire

Ð Raise money to sponsor the hours you can last Ôspending the nightÕ in Wilson Park! Proceeds go to the new Warming Center! - the 800 block of S. Farwell St.-
